¹ú²ú͵ÅÄ Tourism & Events Strategic Plan Webinar
Tourism is essential to ¹ú²ú͵ÅÄ's economy, generating over $2.5 billion in annual economic impact and supporting the livelihoods of thousands in the community. ¹ú²ú͵ÅÄ and the city of ¹ú²ú͵ÅÄ worked with experts from Resonance Consultancy to develop a comprehensive, five-year plan to support ¹ú²ú͵ÅÄ's tourism industry in the short- and long-term.
Resonance's process included stakeholder interviews, visitor and community surveys, research and destination analysis, and public outreach. Following the ¹ú²ú͵ÅÄ City Council’s approval in January, ¹ú²ú͵ÅÄ and the city will begin implementing the plan’s strategies in the areas of community wellbeing, culture and creativity, festivals and events, meetings and events, outdoor pursuits, placemaking and entertainment, sports tourism, and travel and hospitality advocacy.
